Commentary One peasant girl (the enchanted Dulcinea) tries to flee away after meeting don Quixote, but she falls from his donkey on the ground; don Quixote and Sancho arrive to help her.
In the background, two other peasant girls on donkeys running away.
Drawing and engraving are quite good; fine burin lines; "Dulcinea", don Quixote and Sancho's expressions and gestures are remarkable.
Notes 1 - Same plate first used for Paris: Delongchamps, 1824.
