Commentary | Well-known scene; representation withou originality.
Don Quixote, asleep and with a blanket twirled around his arm, attacks the wineskins; the innkeeper, Maritornes, the priest and Dorotea enter into the room, but Dorotea, seeing don Quixote half-naked, turns round; Sancho searches the head of the giant Pandafilando (blood/wine) on the floor. Figures disproportionated and badly drawn and engraved; engraver not too much skilful. |
