Commentary | Well-known scene; don Quixote attacks and defeats the Knight of the Mirrors (they both over their mounts yet). Sancho observes them climbed over a tree (left); also Tomé Cecial, disguised with a big false nose (right).
Figures in the foreground are acceptable (they have been disproportionatly lengthened to suggest movement), but the figures of both squires are quite bad. |
