Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote attacks the flock of sheep (figures drawn and engraved with detail) while, from the background, the shepherds and Sancho observe him (figures more sketched).
The action (drama) and movement have been resolved well (sheep, Rocinante...), but the composition is quite conventional and with little novelty. |
