Commentary | At Sierra Morena, Cardenio tells his story to don Quixote, Sancho and a goatherd.
Illustration in keeping with 18th century English liking for dialogues and bucolic scenes; it is not represented the next fight among these same characters. The quality of drawing and engraving is unequal; don Quixote's figure is remarkable, but Cardenio, Sancho and the goatherd are clumsier. |
