Commentary Don Quixote attacking the puppets of Maese Pedro's theater; Sancho tries to stop him and Maese Pedro appears from behind the set (he should wear a patch); in the foreground, the boy, Maese Pedro's servant, who was telling the story.
Other figures observe the scene with astonishment and laughing.
Scene resolved without too much originality.
Very acceptable engraving. 
Notes 1 - Copied after Francis Hayman's design for London: Millar, 1755.
2 - Same plate also used for Glasgow: Robert & Andrew Foulis, 1771; it is the only signed plate in both editions. The other plates in the 1771 edition are not the same used now.
