Commentary Well known scene. At the inn courtyard, the innkeeper knights don Quixote, knelt before him. Also doña Tolosa (with a sword), doña Molinera (with the spurs) and the boy holding a candle.
Scene several times previously represented.
Forced drawing and some details are not too much correct.

2 - Copied after José del Castillo and Gerónimo Gil's illustration (Madrid: Ibarra, 1780), excepting the figure of doña Tolosa; this figure has been copied after Coypel's design (Paris: Surugue, 1724; London: Knaplock, 1725; London: Walthoe, 1731; London; Van der Gutch, c. 1735). The French style of this figure clearly contrasts with the whole illustration (Spanish and realistic).
