Commentary Don Quixote, with his back turned on the viewer, attacks one friar of Saint Benedict, who has fallen from his mule.
Friar's glasses look like a mask.
Also Sancho Panza and another friar with a parasol.
In the background, the carriage of the lady and the Basque (don Quixote's next adventure).
Drawing and engraving are quite good.
Notes 1 – Copy in a reduced size after José del Castillo’s illustration for Madrid: Ibarra, 1780.
