Commentary During the night, Sancho has to do what no one could do for him (here already raising his breeches).
Don Quixote appears covering his nose in reference to the text: "En que ahora más que nunca hueles, y no a ámbar" (20:1).
Don Quixote should appear mounted on Rocinante.
