Commentary | Rocinante moves to smell one of the mares when four travelers (three in the illustration; servants of don Luis' father) arrive to Juan Palomeque's inn, leaving don Quixote hung by his hand tied to an inn window.
Well-known scene. Good drawing and good engraving; style quite influenced by Tony Johannot's illustrations. |
