Commentary Well-known scene since Coypel (Paris: Surugue, 1724), whose composition has been partially copied through Paris: Huart, 1733 (also in Paris: David Fills Damonneville, 1741).
Micomicona knelt down before don Quixote; Sancho Panza comes closer to don Quixote to tell him that Micomicona is a Princess; the barber disguised as Micomicona's squire; and, in the right background, the priest and Cardenio hidden.
The figures are poor, clumsy and without detailing.
Notes 1 - Plate X.
