Commentary | Don Quixote testing his arms at his library.
Don Quixote's representation is more serious than comical. The room is quite tidied up; in contrast, other illustrations represent the library in a mess as a symbol of don Quixote becoming mad. Acceptable engraving, but poor printing. |
