	Title Caption	Kaum war der Herzog mit Don Quixote heimgekehrt, als ein Theil seiner Diener ganz wunderlich verkleidet vor der Gesellschaft im Gartem erscheinen und um den Ritter fragen musste. Da trat nun eine Dame Gräfin Trifaldi genannt vor, enthüllte nebst ihren Dienerinnen ihr Antlitz, das von borstenaehnlichen Haaren strotzte, erzählte die Geschichte, wie der Zauberer Malambruno ihre Gesichter so entstellt, und bat Don Quixote sie zu rächen.

	Commentary	In a French court garden, countess Trifaldi shows her beard to don Quixote, amazing him and Sancho. The composition is created with gestures and looks: the Duchess orders two maidens to be quiet; the Duke laughs; Sancho's surprised; don Quixote's astonished. On the left, Trifaldín's figure is very remarkable, although he should hold a scimitar, not a mace. Well-detailed drawing and engraving.
