Commentary During the night in Sierra Morena, Ginés de Pasamonte steals Sancho's donkey (he appears running away in the background), leaving Sancho asleep on the packsaddle on four stakes.
Also don Quixote appears sleeping mounted on Rocinante.
Cruikshank's personal caricature style is quite remarkable.
