Commentary Copy from Savery's composition (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657; Brussels: Mommarte, 1662; Amberes: Verdussen, 1672 - 1673). In the foreground, the "bojiganga", who has stolen Sancho's donkey. Behind, the squire, who goes to don Quixote's assistance. This moment, don Quixote falling from Rocinante, is the most humorous of the episode and is situated in the background. In the cart, the players of Angulo Malo's company for the "Cortes de la Muerte" (Devil, Cupid, Death, Angel, Emperor, Queen and Soldier). There is one more player having nothing to do with Cervantes' text.
