Commentary | In the foreground, according to don Quixote's own tale, Montesinos shows him Durandarte's tomb (we can see just his feet) and Belerma's procession, sketched in the background.
In comparison with other illustrations of the same edition, the figures are worse drawn; it is better the detailed Gothic architecture (see vaults). |
