Commentary After Sancho's departure, don Quixote remains alone in the palace and is accosted by Altisidora and Emerencia.
Accurate to Cervantes' text, Altisidora is playing the harp in the garden, while don Quixote (with serious face) hears her song through the bars of the window.
Quite acceptable engraving as a whole.
Notes 1 - Plate X.
2 - Copied and turned after José Rivelles' illustration for Madrid: Imprenta Real, 1819.
3 - Same plate first engraved for Madrid: Imp. de Miguel de Burgos, 1826; also in Madrid: Establecimiento Tipográfico; Gabinete Literario, 1844.
