Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote and Sancho, both blindfold, mounted on Clavileño while a pair of servants simulate its fight with a pair of bellows and a torch; the firecrackers inside Clavileño have been lighted.
In the background, the Duke and Duchess observing the scene. Drawing and engraving are quite acceptable; good light and shadow contrasts. |
