Commentary | At the inn, great fight with don Quixote, the officers of justice, don Fernando and his companions, don Luis and his servants, the innkeeper and others because of the dispute about the barber basin (Mambrino's helmet) and the packsaddle (Agramant's camp).
The priest and some female figures (Dorotea, Luscinda, the innkeeper's wife and daughter or Maritornes) observe the scene (right). In the foreground, Sancho fighting with the barber. Small size illustration with fine drawing and engraving. |
