Commentary In the foreground, in Sierra Morena, Micomicona (Dorotea) knelt before don Quixote, who takes her hand to stand her up; on the left, the barber disguised as her page with a fake beard (ox-tail) and, on the right, Sancho.
In the background, the priest hidden (Cardenio should appear too).
