The different quality of the plates must be due to different engravers.
Description: It is a reprint of the 1782 edition. Cushing's copy lacks one illustration in volume I, between pp. 124 and 125 (Grisóstomo's burial).

Description: Beautiful edition printed in excellent paper. It includes the Life of Cervantes and a translation of the chronological plan by Vicente de los Ríos.
