Illustrations: Contains 12 chapters illustrations (two of them engraved together) designed by Vicente Barneto y Vázquez (10) and J. Narváez (2) and engraved by Manchón (Antonio Manchón Quílez?; 5), Caba (5), E. Alba (1) and Capuz (1), and a map designed and engraved by Otto Neussel. Four of the illustrations have been copied after paintings by Mariano de La Roca y Delgado, Manuel García y García "Hispaleto", Antonio Gisbert and Ferrán. Ashbee refers to 14 illustrations (two more by Padró), but other copies only have 12. He also refers to the engraver J. Narváez as "S. Warvael". Río y Rico refers to 12 illustrations and mentions Padró and Manzano too; however, Padró's or Manzano's signatures do not appear among these 12. The same author refers to the engraver Caba as "Cabot". Reprint of 1875 edition.
