It has one vignette in the title page designed by Janet Lange and engraved by Rambert, two headpieces (one by Guilbauts in "NOTICE" and one by Janet Lange and Badoureau in "PROLOGUE"), two tailpieces (one unsigned in "NOTICE" and one by Marville and Thompson in "AVERTISSEMENT"). It also has one illustrated title page by Hippolyte Lavoignat. "They are irregular in execution, and not remarkable for merit" (Ashbee). "Las litografías de esta edición son deliciosas" (Givanel). According to Río y Rico, they first appeared in 1845.
