Illustrations: Plate 24: "Law, als een tweede Don-Quichot, op Sanches graauwtje zit ten spot." (John Law sits on Sancho's old grey mule, a second Don Quixote for ridicule.) The mule spits stock certificates to the eager crowd.
Description: Print satirizing the Englishman John Law, his Mississippi Company, and the international land and trading speculation in worthless shares of the South Sea Bubble of 1719-1720, which resulted in an international scandal. Acquired with the support of the Lynn Holleran and Chuck Bowman Cervantes Endowment.

Illustrations: Contains 38 large illustrations, most designed and engraved by Jérome David (18 signed). They were published and sold by Jacques Lagniet. Set reproduced from Manuel de Foronda's copy. The Spanish Society of America owns a set with 23 of the original drawings by Jérôme David.
Description: This is a facsimile published as Homenaje al autor del Quijote Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, in the "Joyas bibliográficas" collection, Madrid 1958, with an Intro. by Justo García Morales and a Preface by Francoise Debaissieux. Album with text descriptions in French.
