Commentary | In the center of the scene, don Quixote in fight with a cat clutched to his face and another one to his leg; interest in humorous scenes.
The representation is not too much accurate; who are the man and the "boy" entering the room? they could be recognized as an innkeeper and Sancho, but this scene takes place in the palace of the Duke when Sancho is in Barataria and, according to Cervantes' text, the Duke and the Duchess are who enter the room. |
