The illustration has a fine humor; both characters talking still fallen and being unable to stand up, with Rocinante also beaten... 
Notes 1 - Same illustration and wooden block first used for Paris: Dubochet, 1836-37.
2 - The illustration is signed by the engraver, but the signature is unreadable (ADF?).
