Commentary The giant Malambruno, mounted upon a wooden horse, transforms Antonomasia into an ape of brass and Clavijo into a horrible crocodile of an unknown metal.
Fantastic and imaginative scene in keeping with Romanticism taste.
Notes 1 - Same illustration and wooden block first used for Paris: Dubochet, 1836-37.
