Commentary After trying to attack the silk merchants, don Quixote is beaten by one of their grooms.
The scene is quite well-resolved; don Quixote and Rocinante fallen in the foreground (clearly-drawn and engraved), the groom moving towards him in the middle-ground and the merchants observing them from the background.
