Commentary Reference to captive's tale; Agi Morato, sticking his head out of a window, surprises the captive running away with his daughter.
Accurate to Cervantes' text: "asomándose a la ventana, luego conoció que todos los que en él estaban eran cristianos; y, dando muchas, grandes y desaforadas voces, comenzó a decir en arábigo: ¡Cristianos, cristianos! ¡Ladrones, ladrones!" (41:1).
Excellent engraving.
