Commentary Well-known scene; don Quixote and Sancho, both blindfolded, appear mounted on Clavileño while several servants simulate its flight with bellows and torches.
Drawing and engraving are excellent, but it is a scene with little novelty.
Notes 1 - Same plate first engraved for Boston: Peirce, 1848.
2 - Copied after Tony Johannot's illustration for Paris: Dubochet, 1836-37.
