Commentary Sancho, in Turkish clothes, is taken over shoulders through Barataria Island streets; several figures observe him from windows, stairs, walls, towers and balconies.
Well-created and carefully-designed composition and detailed architecture.
Remarkable shading and excellent engraving.
Notes 1 - Plate XXIV (in the French edition, the plates aren't numbered).
2 - Copied after Coypel's illustration (Paris: Surugue, c. 1728-30).
3 - The composition has been turned and the format now is vertical, so Tanjé has enlarged the arquitecture, the sky and the floor.
