Commentary At dawn, Sancho discovers the big and ugly nose of the Knight of the Mirrors' squire (Tomé Cecial disguised), getting frightened. Although the nose is fake, it has been represented as real.
Comical episode associated only with Sancho, without don Quixote.
Fine small size vignette.
Notes 1 - Copied after Westall’s illustration for London: Hurst & Co., 1820.
