Commentary | In Sierra Morena, Dorotea, in man clothes, washes her feet beside a stream and "combs" her hair observed by the priest, the barber and Cardenio.
Original image of Dorotea with black hair, not blonde (although Cervantes says: "Los luengos y rubios cabellos..."; 28:1). Excellent drawing and engraving; remarkable use of etching. |
