	Commentary	The priest and the housekeeper are opening the door of don Quixote's library, while the barber and the niece appear talking between themselves. The scene is resolved with excellent naturalism; the gestures of the figures, the relations between them, the details of the setting (austere, but very effective)...
	Notes	1 - "Basta comparar esta estampa con las de cualquiera otra edición española de hace casi un siglo, para ver cómo, después de tan largo y movido rodeo por tierras extrañas, hemos venido a parar, al fin, en el eterno realismo español, aunque ahora un poco bajado de tono. Este es un arte honrado y casi fotográfico, sin dobles fondos ni quebraderos de cabeza. Al pan, pan, y al vino, vino. La retina es fiel y fría como una lente. Parece que oímos a un catedrático amonestar a los artistas españoles, después de haber condenado los desvaríos del romanticismo exótico: "¡Señores, señores: volvamos a la realidad!" Y, efectivamente, en ella estamos, de hoz y de coz, como hubiera dicho el propio Don Quijote" (GG246-247).
