Commentary Reference to Eugenio's tale; after having fled away with Vicente de la Rosa, Leandra is found in a cave, where Vicente had robbed and abandoned her.
Drawing and engraving are excellent; notice the darkness of the print and how the figures have been shaded (with perfect light contrasts).
Leandra's figure is especially remarkable.
Masterly illustration.
