Commentary | Tender and sad scene. After having been beaten by one of the penitents, don Quixote remains half-dead and Sancho attends him; arround them, the two priests, the canon, the barber, the officers of the Brotherhood and the penitents.
Notice the ghostly figures of the penitents. Good drawing (with a quick sketching style) and engraving. |
