Commentary Don Quixote encounters a cart with players of Angulo el Malo's company; disguised as the devil, Cupid, a soldier, an emperor, a queen, the death and an angel (Doré has included more characters not from Cervantes' text). Among them, a bojiganga frightening Rocinante with three blown bladders.
According to Cervantes' text, when Sancho reaches don Quixote to help him, the knight and Rocinante are already on the ground, but Doré has not represented it in this way.
Good drawing and engraving.
