Commentary | Excellent and highly detailed representation of Camacho's wedding; don Quixote and Sancho appear in the center of the composition surrounded by confusion, mess and hundreds of figures (musicians on stages, cooks, men fighting, children crying, horsemen, dancers, beggars...).
Every single figure must be see in detail. Drawing and engraving are masterly; Doré's skill as illustrator is excellent. |
