	Commentary	Don Quixote, while resting in bed, wounded, dejected and moody, with his head bandaged and marked by the claws of a cat, hears the door open (notice his eye). This representation of don Quixote is simply masterly.

Givanel mistakes the illustration; it does not represent don Quixote after some of his sallies.
