Commentary | Sancho catches and shows to don Quixote the hare taken by the knight for a bad omen about Dulcinea (chased by enchanters as the hare by hunters).
Sancho's donkey wears the clothes from Antisidora's episode (tunic with flames and capirote). In the foreground, two boys arguing/fighting for a cricket box. Scene resolved with Herreros' personal, characteristic and parodic drawing style. |
