Commentary Don Quixote and Sancho mounted on Clavileño while several servants simulate its flight with bellows and torchs; one of them has lighted its fuse.
The Duke and Duchess observe the scene.
Set in a Versailles kind garden (baroque architectures, hedges, one terminus...).
Good light and shadow effects.
Despite some light faults, drawing and engraving are remarkable.
Notes 1 - Good copy in a reduced size after Picart's plate with Coypel's design for La Haye: P. de Hondt, 1746.
2 - Plate XXII.
