Commentary | The scene is resolved with the basic composition.
Micomicona (Dorotea) kneels before don Quixote and the knight tries to prevent her from doing it. The barber, also knelt and disguised with a beard (ox tail), laughs, while Sancho holds the barber basin. Behind the trees, the priest and Cardenio are hidden. The engraving seems unfinished. |
