Commentary Theatrical composition.
In the center: Quiteria and Basilio, both well-lighted.
On the right, Camacho ready to draw his sword.
From the left, don Quixote advances to stop him, while Sancho is only interested in protecting his food.
Also the priest and several women.
Good drawing and engraving, but the illustration is too much dark due to a bad inking and printing process.
Notes 1 - Turned copy after Coypel’s illustration engraved by Beauvais (Paris: Surugue, c. 1724).
2 - Print detached from London: Knaplock, 1725 or London: Walthoe, 1731.
