	Commentary	Canonical image; don Quixote on Rocinante and Sancho on his donkey with their village in the background; don Quixote's second sally or first sally of both characters together. Don Quixote is wearing the basin on his head, although he has not won it yet. It can be compared with Johannot's illustration (Paris: Dubochet, 1836-37).
