Commentary After attacking the flock of sheep, don Quixote begins to be stoned by the shepherds and drinks Fierabrás' balsam to relieve the pain.
One stone "flies" towards his face (the stone will break his teeth and his alcuza).
Don Quixote remains impassive surrounded by shepherds and sheeps; some sheeps are dead; in the background, Sancho Panza.
Drawing and engraving are acceptable.
Notes 1 - Despite the inscription "Antonio Carnicero delt.", it is a copy after Isidro and Antonio Carnicero's illustration for Madrid: Ibarra, 1782.
