Commentary | Well-known scene since Coypel (Paris: Surugue, 1724); now, with more realism.
Pedro Recio orders the servants to remove the dishes from Sancho's table; Sancho looks at Pedro Recio angrily. Sancho's figure is forced, but with good expression. Drawing and engraving are quite acceptable. |
