Commentary Don Quixote dictates his last will to a notary (foreground); two candles light them.
In the background, the housekeeper, the niece, Sancho, Sansón Carrasco, the barber and the priest.
Scene without certain drama; only the housekeeper, the niece and Sancho are crying.
Good composition, lightly theatrical.
Drawing and engraving are quite acceptable. 
Notes 1 - Copy after Antonio Carnicero's illustration for Madrid: Ibarra, 1780; Sancho's position (more secondary in 1780) has been changed.
