	Commentary	Traditionally, since Jérôme (Paris: Lagniet, 1650 - 1652) or Savery (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657), previous illustrators had developed this scene with all its characters fighting (don Quixote, Sancho, the innkeeper, the carrier and Maritornes); on the contrary, Johannot does not show too much interest in this scene, resolving it as a small vignette only with don Quixote and Maritornes.
