Commentary Sancho, pointing to don Quixote, introduces him to the Duchess, who rides a white horse and holds a goshawk (accurate to Cervantes' text).
Don Quixote's figure, in the background, is bad.
Only one maiden accompanies the Duchess.
Detailed drawing and engraving, but not remarkable.
Notes 1 - Same plate first used for Paris: Compagnie des Libraires, 1732.
2 - Turned copy with a new vertical format after Coypel’s illustration (Paris: Surugue, 1723).
