Commentary | In a palace of crystal (very accurate to Cervantes' text), Montesinos (knelt, white-bearded and holding a rosary) introduces Durandarte (dead on his tomb) to don Quixote.
In the background, Belerma (holding Durandarte's heart wrapped with a fine cloth) and her retinue; all with turbans. Illustration resolved with worth-noting caricature style and good coloring. |
